During the latest recording of SBS 1000 Songs Challenge, SHINee Onew teams up with dae-sunbae (dae=great) Ha Choonhwa who is ahead of him in 47 debut years, going for gold.
Onew displayed aegyo, such as holding Choonhwa’s hand while leaning his head against her shoulders, shaking the hearts of the rest female casts.
Other than that, he turned his song selections into serenades for Choonhwa, as well as owning the love from her for wonderfully singing one of her classic songs.
During the recording Choonhwa not a moment departed from him while Onew escorted the dae-sunbae calling her “noona”.
Watching all this, Jang Yoonjung responded ‘I want to be one of the guest on 1000 Song Challenge. Let me be with Onew” and finally announcing to forfeit her MC position, which said to overwhelm Onew.

On this day Onew sang trot and other various genres making his partner Ha Choonhwa happy. He sang Lee Seungi’s ‘Because You’re My Girl’ towards her while kneeling, as well as giving her a back hug, which said to made the rest of the female casts envious. Choonhwa replied “Today is my lucky day” and expressed her affections for Onew.
